Description
I didn’t set out to paint flowers. I set out to paint the feeling of chasing something that keeps moving.
The green came first — not calm, but alive, humming beneath everything like silk pulled taut. Into it, I let the bloom gather: magenta folding into gold, petals losing their edges until abundance itself became the subject. Closer, I learned, never means clearer. It means more.
The white gestures are the residue of thought moving faster than my hand — half-formed words, dissolving before they could be kept. And the two wild, leopard-marked petals set apart from the crowd are the part of me that never fully surrenders to the gathering, even at its most saturated.
My signature melts into that same loose scrivening because I was never outside this dream, watching. I was inside it, still reaching — and this canvas is simply the moment I got close enough to feel its warmth
